A city’s history told by postage stamps

How exciting! metrokit! Submerge into the gorges of our megacities and stumble from one adventure into another…
Well not quite, what this post is concernd. In a rather unadventurous fashion, I found myself flipping through my father’s old collection of stamps. I started looking out for stamps that show cities and noticed that there are plenty of those tiny pictures illustrating Berlin.
Those stamps originating from different stages of the city’s eventful recent history have their own way of telling the story. A story of defeat and divide, pride and propaganda and reunification in the end. But see yourself.
